"MIK Holding" JSC has joined the "Billion Trees" national movement initiated by the President of Mongolia, which plans to plant one million trees.
Specifically, the financial sector and professional associations support the goal of reducing the impact of climate change, combating desertification and land degradation, increasing forests and forest reserves, protecting water sources and resources, and ensuring ecological balance, and will plant trees until 2030.
The signing of the agreement by the parties was attended by the President of Mongolia, U. Khurelsukh, the Prime Minister of Mongolia, the head of the National Committee for Climate Change and Desertification, L. Oyun-Erdene and the Minister of Environment and Tourism, B. Bat-Erdene.
In the first round, 17 professional associations and enterprises joined to plant 88,600,000 trees.
